In accordance with University Rule 33.99.08.P1 Student Employment, Graduate Assistants may work during the summer without being enrolled in classes provided the Graduate Assistant was enrolled for the preceding Spring semester/term and has registered proceeding Fall semester/term. A Fall 2016 scheduling show proof of enrollment in 9 SCH of graduate courses must be provided when processing the Graduate Assistant hire if he/she is not enrolled in courses for the summer. However, if the Graduate Assistant has been awarded an assistantship through the Office of Research & Graduate Studies, the guidelines for being enrolled in 6 SCH of graduate courses for the summer must be met.
